About
Ten Year Old Spruce Plantation, High Elevation Site, Canadian Rockies, planted with RTI Bio Paks
For nearly 20 years, RTI has created high-performance, eco-friendly products for forestry regeneration, habitat restoration, land / mine reclamation and erosion control applications.
FEEDER PAK TECHNOLOGY: A Quarter Billion Seedlings and Counting
Since establishment in 1993, the company has become known for biologically-inspired products that work with nature to increase plant health and growth. With the creation of the unique teabag delivery system: a convenient packet of controlled release or organic fertilizers, nutrients to a plant for up to two years, assuring that a strong root system develops and long term health and survival are dramatically improved. RTI fertilizer has established over a quarter billion forestry seedlings in some of the harshest growing conditions on the planet over the past two decades.

ADVANCE BIOLOGICAL AMENDMENTS: Connecting Plants to the Soil Ecosystem, Restoring Sustainability and Balance
Mycorrhizal fungi is a critical component of healthy soil biology and comprises about 80% plus of all the living microbial biomass that supports plant growth and health. RTI began producing commercial cultures in 1996 and is the nation’s oldest and largest producer of quality mycorrhizal inoculants. It’s use has played an important part in successful restoration, mine and pipeline reclamation, highway erosion control projects and many other environmentally sensitive applications throughout the Americas and Europe.
As the company moves towards its second full decade of developing and producing biological solutions for environmental management applications, new inoculants and treatments including AZOS, an aggressive nitrogen fixing bacteria and other organisms are being introduced.
